Twenty years ago, Tim Garland, launched his Lighthouse Trio - a formidable band featuring the prodigiously talented pianist Gwilym Simcock and percussionist Asaf Sirkis. Together with Simcock and Sirkis, the Grammy winning saxophonist has an approach to music making that’s informed by a blend of fusion, folk and classical forms. Interplay is paramount between these much praised musicians and this gig, which features visuals from ’Moment Of Departure’ a project created by Turkish painter and printmaker Esra Kizir Gokcen, will capture their stunning agility and lyrical sensibility.
