Multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Zara McFarlane is known for her unique sound melding influences from jazz, reggae, folk and nu-soul. She pushes the boundaries of jazz adjacent music, via an exploration into the folk and spiritual traditions of her ancestral motherland, Jamaica. Zara pays homage to the divine Sarah Vaughan in her centenary year, with music from her latest album ‘Sweet Whispers: Celebrating Sarah Vaughan’.

The twice Jazz FM vocalist of the year winner has performed at Ronnie Scott’s The Jazz Cafe, The Royal Albert Hall, Love Supreme (UK), SXSW (US) and many more, and with acclaimed musicians including Hugh Masekela, Gregory Porter and Ezra Collective.
