Equally at ease in the studio and on stage, ALIAS draws a clear line between the finished product of the first and the animated one of the second, where the compositions vibrate in new, more raw states. Emmanuel Alias (vocals), Jean-Baptiste Beltra (keyboards), Vincent Benezet (bass), Simon Bilodeau (drums) propel a soaring psych rock marked by setbacks through highs and lows of intensity, hunting down genres by evoking the canons to better explore around them. Something more happens, simply - via the unexpected, improvisation, atmosphere: an inhabited performance, each time seasoned and virgin. His second album EMBRACE CHAOS, on which he almost entirely swaps guitars for synths, will be released in 2024 under Simone Records.
