This three-movement sonata for solo piano will explore how fractal-like formal design can imitate occurrences in nature where these shapes take place, such as streams of water or branching of trees. The work is written to explore the staggering beauty that self-similarity can cause. This Piece will be performed by and dedicated to Nicola Rose.
