LIGHTHEADED: New Jersey's Lightheaded are students of pop in all of its variety, drawing as much from 60s Brill Building songwriters as they do from later 60s folk/pop & 80s DIY pop. The striking thing is how seamlessly they're able to meld these influences, and the distinctive voice that they've crafted this early in their career. New album "Combustible Gems" follows-up their well-regarded "Good Good Great!" EP in fine fashion, striking all the right Phil Spector/Goffin & King chords while rooting the album firmly in the NOW. Singles like "Moments Notice" and "Bright Happy Girls" possess a timeless pop charm, brimming with jangle, drama and infectious energy. Lightheaded Bandcamp

NAMELESS FRIENDS: Rock band from London, Ontario, Canada described as modern glam, prog punk, metal-adjacent, hysterical p*ssy shit, and your new favourite band! Nameless Friends website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, Spotify, Bandcamp, TikTok

MT.MISERY: Indie-pop trio from Hartlepool - Facebook, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Instagram

GENERATION FERAL: the brain flower of Izzy Liddamore, a female solo artist, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist based between Cardiff and Essex. A self-confessed ‘sad piano lady’ inspired by the likes of Kae Tempest and Fiona Apple, her sound is split between indie-acoustic ukulele loop pedal moments and dramatic, piano-led deep cuts dipping into spoken word over the course of her sets. Self-described as ‘punkish piano ballads for tender scumbags’, she writes on Britain and how it’s broken, aiming to musically depict the experiences of being part of the new wave of adults in 2023 – often scapegoated as the ‘feral generation’. THE MERITONES: indie psych rock band from Cardiff - The Meritones Instagram
