For almost thirty years and over seventeen albums (nine with his band Idlewild and eight as a solo artist) Roddy Woomble has established himself as one of Scotland’s most celebrated and unique songwriters and performers. A restless creative spirit, his music spans genres from the punk rock and anthemic alternative rock of Idlewild, to the mediative folk and uplifting electronica on his later solo releases.
