Additionally, they have served as a backing band for visiting US blues and rock 'n' roll artists such as Lowell Fulson, Carey Bell, Lazy Lester, Frankie Ford, Big Al Downing, Nappy Brown, Big Jay McNeely, and many others. The band has extensively toured across Europe, Canada, and the Far East. In the early 2000s, The Red Hot Pokers became Van Morrison's touring band and are featured on his album "You Win Again." The band's current live set covers a mix of styles with a strong emphasis on blues, along with country, soul, and reggae.
