VOYA are a Cardiff duo influenced by the meticulous song writing, opulent production and emotive vocals of early 80s British synthesiser-based pop music. The band have been awarded the Triskell Award at this year’s prestigious Welsh Music Awards recognising them as one of the best new acts of 2024. This gig will include the world premiere of the video for their debut single "2 Shy 4 Love" Linford Hydes trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama; his previous work was leading the art-rock band ‘Palomino Party’. Eddie Al-Shakarchi is an award-winning producer and multi-instrumentalist that shaped the sound of Boy Azooga’s acclaimed ‘1, 2 Kung Fu!’ album, which catapulted the band to international success and sold-out, headline tours. His musicality as an artist and experience as a producer allows him to create the perfect soundscapes for Hyde’s vocals.
